Alawna Mallory

A Pittsburgh city girl, Alawna ain’t no musical theatre kid. She grew up surrounded by 90’s rhythm & blues, rap, alt-rock and classical music. In her early years, she sang in the choir. Shortly after, she hit the stage in 2017 in her first musical, The Sound of Music. Now, as a musical theatre adult, Alawna strives to make her mark on this industry by being an advocate for mental health in musical theatre. Awarded by the Kennedy Center for her excellence in musical theatre, Alawna has already began her professional career while also finishing a full time BFA as a senior at Slippery Rock University for Musical Theatre.
